Complete records
Every field a company or person record carries on Record Lookup, beyond what search rows hold.
A search row carries the flat fields you filter and sort by. /v1/entities/companies and /v1/entities/persons return the complete record: those same fields plus the ones below, which /v1/search rows do not carry.
- Every key is always present. An unknown value is
null(for a scalar or an object) or[](for a list), so you can read a key without checking that it exists. - Nothing internal is returned: no scores, no ingest markers, no embeddings, and no phone numbers or email addresses.
Company (also nested as company on a person):
| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
other_industries | list of strings | |
global_presence | object | null | {hq_country, countries, country_count}: lowercase ISO3 codes, largest headcount first |
website, logo, street_address, facebook_url, twitter_url, short_description | string | null | |
latitude, longitude | number | null | |
revenue_range | object | null | {min, max} annual revenue band. revenue can be an estimate, and the band says how wide |
department_headcount | object | null | {department: headcount}, largest first. A department with no display name is left out, so the named ones may not add up to employee_count |
employees_by_country | object | null | {ISO3 code: headcount}, largest first |
business_models, company_types | list of strings | e.g. ["B2B", "SaaS"], ["For Profit", "Investor"] |
operating_status, growth_stage, legal_name, ipo_status | string | null | |
products | list of objects | {name, description} |
parent_organization | object | null | {name, type} |
subsidiaries | list of objects | {name, type} |
acquisitions, acquired_by | list of objects | {company, announced_on, amount_usd} |
investors, partnerships, clients, suppliers | list of strings | Names |
funding_rounds | list of objects | Newest first: {announced_on, type, amount_usd, investors} |
office_locations | list of objects | {address, city, country} |
The fields from business_models through office_locations come from a second data source and are reported as that source holds them. A company can have none of them.
Person:
| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
first_name, last_name, employment_type, governance_level, position_start_date | string | null | |
linkedin_connections | integer | null | |
has_direct_access_to_c_suite | boolean | null | |
employment_history | list of objects | Every job, newest start first: {title, company_name, company_domain, company_linkedin_url, description, start_date, end_date, is_primary}. is_primary marks the current one |
education | list of objects | {school, degree, description, start_date, end_date} |
certification_details | list of objects | {name, issuer, date} |
company | object | null | The person's employer as a complete company record (every company field, plus id). null when the employer's record is missing |
other_industries, global_presence | The employer's, flat, like the other employer fields |
certifications, prior_company and university keep their shape as lists of names. The structured versions are in certification_details, employment_history and education.
